Graduate Programs

Jewish Studies at the Graduate level involves acceptance by an appropriate department with a graduate degree program. Graduate students may pursue the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in a core area of Jewish Studies in departments such as English, History, Music, Philosophy and Political Science. In addition, advanced degrees in Hebrew through the Department of Near Eastern Languages and Cultures, and Yiddish and Ashkenazic Studies though the Department of Germanic Languages and Literatures are offered. The College of Education gives a Masters of Arts degree in Education with a specialization in Jewish Studies. For further information, contact a faculty member in the department of your choice.
