Hillel is one of the largest, most exciting, and most versatile organizations at The Ohio State University. Students and staff create partnerships to build connections with various organizations and departments around OSU and with the greater Columbus area. Together, they have made Hillel an integral part of campus social, cultural, educational, political and religious life.

With the vision to open the door of Judaism to all Jewish students on the OSU campus, the Chabad House is a place where Jews of all backgrounds and degrees of observance can enjoy exploring their Jewish heritage in a warm, welcoming and non-judgmental environment. As an active student organization, Chabad is committed to being available for all.

The Melton Research Center for Jewish Education, established in 1960 under the sponsorship of Samuel M. Melton of Columbus, Ohio, has the mandate of improving the quality of Jewish education throughout North America. In 1984, the Melton Research Center was awarded the first Daniel Issacman Memorial Award for Jewish Education for its generative work in educational research and publications. In 1992, the center was honored by Hadassah at its eightieth anniversary celebration for its outstanding contribution to and positive impact on fostering Jewish learning and scholarship and strengthening Jewish communal life through the training and development of Jewish educators.

The mission of the Coalition for the Advancement of Jewish Education is to promote excellence in Jewish education across the spectrum of Jewish life.

Founded in 1969, the Association for Jewish Studies (AJS) is a learned society and professional organization that seeks to promote, maintain, and improve teaching and research in Jewish Studies at colleges, universities, and other institutions of higher learning.
