Community Text Study Program

Join our Community Text Study Program

Meetings twice a month September through April

The Melton Center’s community text study program offers participants the opportunity to study Jewish topics from an academic perspective. The sessions are held twice a month on Zoom during the academic year, are 1.5 hours long, and are led by our faculty.

Last year we studied a range of topics that included: historical approaches to Italian Jewish humanists in the Renaissance; medieval Jewish perspectives on the bible as literature and the Israel-Hamas War, to name a few.

There are short reading assignments before each session, and there is no cost to join.
