Ohio State and Melton Center faculty have produced, supported, and participated in several programs since the Israel-Hamas War began on October 7, 2023, to educate the Ohio State community about the histories of the region and how the war is resonating in Ohio.

Ori Yehudai Interviewed on the topic of Israel/Gaza Conflict in the Classroom

Ori Yehudai, Schottenstein Chair in Israel Studies and Associate Professor of History, has provided historical context and actively worked to help students in his courses understand the situation in Israel and Gaza. He was recently interviewed by Spectrum News 1 about altering his courses to include in-depth discussions, and shared how students have been impacted by the conflict.
