Tamar Rudavsky
Arts and Sciences Distinguished Professor in Philosophy
After 47 years with the university, Professor Rudavsky retired this year. She is one of the top scholars in the country on Moses Maimonides and medieval Jewish philosophy. She published 6 books (listed below) and numerous articles. Professor Rudavsky was director of the Melton Center for a cumulative number of 25 years and was responsible for securing seven of our endowments and developing enriching streams of programming. We will be forever thankful for her work at Ohio State, and we wish her all the best!

Stuart Lishan

Stuart Lishan has retired after 35 years at the university, mostly teaching various creative writing and poetry classes at Ohio State Marion. He published various publications, received grants and awards and was awarded the Ohio State Alumni Award for Distinguished Teaching. Most recently, he received a $30,000 grant to help seed Pay-It-Forward service-learning classes at several Ohio State campuses.
