Retirements
Lori Botnick Fireman
Program Coordinator/Community Outreach Analyst
Lori Fireman retired after nearly 20 years of dedicated service with the Melton Center. She worked tirelessly with four directors to expand programming and transform the center into what it is today. During her time at the Melton Center, Lori developed, planned and executed a wide range of cultural and academic programs on and off campus, including concerts, lectures, exhibits and conferences. She built strategic partnerships with community leaders and organizations, significantly boosting engagement and visibility for the center’s initiatives. In addition to managing all marketing and public relations efforts, Lori played a pivotal role in securing financial support through targeted fundraising, contributing directly to the center’s sustainability and growth. To her work at the center she brought meaningful optimism, reliability and perspective, especially and even when events did not go as planned. Her experience helped support the Melton Center get through the year following Oct. 7. We will be forever thankful for her work at Ohio State, and we wish her all the best in her next chapter!
