Jonathan Branfman, PhD candidate in the Department of Women's Gender and Sexuality Studies at Ohio State, will discuss the Jewish feminist movement, including the many Jewish women who led the 1960s women's rights movement and the Jewish women who promoted more egalitarian gender practices within Judaism starting in the 1970's.
