I am an Associate Professor of Teaching Hebrew Language at The Ohio State University NESA Department, where I teach undergraduate courses in Hebrew Language and one citizenship course. I specialize in language instruction, and my teaching philosophy focuses on fostering an inclusive pedagogy and atmosphere, encouraging questioning, and using active learning strategies. I specialize in developing teaching methods for Hebrew reading acquisition and developing curricula for prayer acquisition. I am currently working on the fourth student workbook in the Magic of Prayer series, teaching Hebrew reading acquisition and the core prayers for Bar/Bat Mitzvah.
